This is by far the best balsamic dijon vinaigrette I have ever had. I think I might have a slight addiction because I use it at least 5 times a week on my salads. You will love the hint of sweetness from the honey and grape juice combined with the tart flavor from the dijon mustard and balsamic vinegar. You can use this as a marinade for chicken and salmon or as a salad dressing for whole grain pasta, quinoa, a bed of greens or more. The possibilities are endless!
I prefer to make my own dressings because then I know what good quality ingredients are in it. It is also hard to find a good gluten free dressing and by making it myself I can be sure it is gluten free :).
Balsamic Dijon Vinaigrette
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tbsp minced shallots
- 1/4 cup dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp dried basil
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp agave nectar
- 1/4 cup white grape juice
Combine all ingredients in a dressing shaker and mix away!
Bon Appetit!
